Stripping the doors down didn't take too long at all. The worst thing was getting out the small screws that attach the front of the window frame to the door. Another part that had me stuck for a while were the door warning lights.They are pushed in and held in place by a barb and I just couldn't get them out. I eventually slightly crushed down the end of a bit of 22mm copper pipe. This was the perfect size to slip over the light and compress the barbs allowing the light to pop out.
I think the doors are generally in good shape. Both doors have some rust at the bottom front of each door.
